EMPLOYMENT LAW ATTORNEY AND MANAGING ATTORNEY
Richard Schramm, is the managing attorney for Employment Rights Attorneys, located in Campbell, CA. With over 40 years handling all aspects of employment law, Mr. Schramm has extensive experience in state and federal courts, representing individual employees, executives, and small businesses.
He is a seasoned trial attorney prosecuting and defending wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, breach of contract, and wage-hour cases. Mr. Schramm has achieved consistently favorable results both from trials, and in arbitrations and mediations. He has argued cases before both federal and state Appellate Courts, as well as more than 15 different federal and state agencies. As an experienced employment law attorney, Mr. Schramm has been designated an expert witness before three federal courts and one state court on issues involving gender discrimination and attorney-client fee disputes.
Professional Memberships
Mr. Schramm has chaired or co-chaired sections for the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA), chaired sections for the California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA), headed the Silicon Valley Employment Lawyers Association, and provided editorial advice for the American Bar Association. He is also a member of the Labor and Employment Sections of the American, California, and Santa Clara County Bar Associations.

Mr. Schramm was admitted to the California State Bar in December 1990. He received his Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University School of Law. He also has a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Texas Health Science Center, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Experimental Psychology from the University of Texas.
Professional Background
In his prior professional life, Mr. Schramm was a Human Resources Manager and Non-Profit Association Director. He also functioned as a Director for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Comm., Investigator for the U.S. Dept. of Labor, and Consultant for the Dept. of Fair Employment & Housing. He also has practiced law with the firms of McTernan, Stender & Walsh as well as Kleberg & Head in Texas.
